“I always used to think that if I used the hot-water setting, my clothes would get cleaner. I now realize this is not the case and that even the cold settings water is slightly warm. I use the warm setting for whites and mixed loads and the cold setting for dark loads.
Simply changing the cold/warm setting instead of the hot will make a big diffence in your utility bill and your impact on the environment.”
